We could talk about the stage of a large theater that undresses countless times whenever the curtain closes, if we had to propose a simple comparison. Or talk about an actor who changes constumes to get back out on stage transformed into another character. Talk about while the interval lasts between each function, this scenario requires to get blurred and the actor to undress. Emptiness and nudity are mandatory.

The spatial dimension of leisure and contemporary society itself is created with the obligation of the ephemeral, of surrendering to temporary transformations to comply with the several purposes for which it was conceived.

Appropriate space is the first act of living things their manipulation is a fundamental manifestation of balance and life. Everything changes.

Buildings and diverse structures are modified, rebuilt constantly making an explicit effort to redefine its role after the previous configuration has become impossible place.

Postmodern spaces where the image represents everything and where the physical reality remains subordinated to the representation. Spaces born as mechanisms for temporary occupation and claiming the legitimacy of the imagination to create new functions.

This series portrays spaces that doze, as empty links of disparate things. Areas that require nothing and pause before assuming new roles. They reflect a constantly changing society, capable of inaugurating once and again unknown scenes to be used for, opening ourselves ever new ways of unknown spatial experience.

As the silences that precedes the storm, Coming Soon register spaces that wait for the restructuration of its extinguished paradise.

 
Podríamos hablar del escenario de un gran teatro que se desviste infinitas veces cada vez que cierra el telón, si tuviéramos que proponer una comparación simple. O de un actor que cambia el figurino para volver a salir en escena transformado en otro personaje. Hablar de que mientras dure el intervalo entre una y otra función, este escenario necesita desdibujarse y el actor desvestirse. Hablar de que son obligados el vacío y la nudez.

La dimensión espacial del ocio y de la propia sociedad contemporánea nace con la obligación de lo efímero, de someterse a transformaciones temporales para que cumpla con los diversos fines para los cuales ha sido concebida.

Apropiarse del espacio es el primer gesto de los seres vivos y su manipulación es una manifestación fundamental de equilibrio y de vida.
Todo se transforma.

Edificios y estructuras diversas se modifican, se reconstruyen constantemente realizando un esfuerzo explícito para redefinir su papel una vez que la anterior figuración ha devenido lugar imposible. Espacios posmodernos donde la imagen representa el todo y donde la realidad física queda supeditada a la representación. Espacios que nacen
como mecanismos de ocupación temporal y que reivindican la legitimidad de la imaginación que crea nuevas funciones.

Esta serie retrata espacios que dormitan, vacíos de enlace entre cosas dispares. Espacios que precisan de nada y pausa antes de asumir nuevos contenidos. Son reflejo de una sociedad en cambio permanente, capaz de inaugurar una y otra vez escenarios inéditos para su disfrute, abriéndonos cada vez nuevas formas de experiencia espacial desconocidas.

Como el silencio que precede a la tormenta, Coming Soon registra espacios que esperan la reconversión de su paraíso extinguido.
